When it comes to the resumption of Major League baseball, former big-league infielder and current MLB Network analyst Bill Ripken believes the sooner everyone can adhere to distancing themselves, the better.
Ripken joined the Pat & Aaron Show Wednesday, and said he feels that when people take care of what they need to do socially, the quicker we can get back to normal, including playing baseball hopefully in front of fans.
The guys also discussed why old school baseball fans shouldn't be afraid of analytics, though there are certain metrics that may probe a little too far and are kept too secretive, and the growing trend of general managers who were agents in their former lives.
