Second Minor-League Player In Tampa Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Another minor-league player has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Sources tell Joel Sherman of the New York Post that a second New York Yankees minor-league player has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Neither player has been identified by the team.

Major League Baseball suspended Spring Training and pushed back Opening Day a minimum of two weeks due to the pandemic Thursday, and Monday commissioner Rob Manfred said the league will abide by the CDC advisory to avoid gatherings of more than 50 people for eight weeks.
