David Carr Calls Jameis "Superior Talent" To Jimmy Garoppolo

NFL Network analyst and former quarterback David Carr says he has conflicting feelings when he watches tape of Jameis Winston.

Carr sat down with Pat and Aaron on Radio Row at Super Bowl LIV Friday and said when it comes to raw ability that Winston is a "superior talent" compared to 49ers signal-caller Jimmy Garoppolo, but the big issue is what we all saw this year: the unacceptable number of mistakes made by the Tampa Bay quarterback that cost his team multiple games. Carr said that what Winston needs is someone to reel him in and keep him from trying to be the gunslinger we've seen, but isn't sure that Bruce Arians wants to be that kind of coach.

The former top-overall pick also discussed his own career and the beating he took as the first ever pick by the Houston Texans, and what he expects his younger brother Derek to have to deal with now that the Raiders have moved from Oakland to Las Vegas.
