Leftwich Not Surprised By Perriman Four Game Run

Because he watches the wide receiver every day at practice, Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich isn't surprised by Breshad Perriman's production over the last month.

Leftwich spoke with the media during his weekly press conference on Thursday & after discussing some of the team's struggles to run the football, the offensive coordinator was asked what has led to the recent productive impact that Perriman has had on the offense, including twenty receptions over the last four games. And while some might be surprised that Perriman has also had back to back one hundred yard receiving games, Leftwich has always known the wide receiver, who is playing on his third team in three years, would be a major factor in the offense this year.
