Bucs Bowles Wants Band To Stay Together

The Buccaneers have several players along their front seven that may see free agency this off-season but if you ask the man in charge of their defense, he wants the potential free agents to be here next year.

Todd Bowles, the team's defensive coordinator met with the media on Thursday. And while he pointed out his main focus is on the team's next opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, who visit Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, Bowles did discuss the pending free agency of some of the team's defensive starters. And while Bowles stated he won't have much say on who is back from next season, he did say he won't be shy in expressing his opinion to those in charge of making the personnel decisions.

One of those pending free agents is Carl Nassib & while the linebacker missed three games this season because of a groin injury, Bowles likes what he brings to the team's defense.
