The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned home from their unprecedented road trip with a 30-27 victory over the visiting Arizona Cardinals, snapping a four-game losing streak.
Bruce Arians spoke to the media following Tampa Bay’s win, below is the full transcript.
(Opening statement)
“It’s very nice to address you when we finish one. I’m really happy with all the guys. I thought offensively we showed a lot of poise, a lot of guts. Giving the lead up and then taking it back. Then finally, defensively, finishing out at the end. Again, offensively, we can talk about turnovers, we can talk about penalties, but again, we made plays to win the game. Putting that many points on the board, you should win the game. Defensively, we’re still a work in progress but I like the fact the we’re in here celebrating and we’re making them better. Can’t be happier for anyone more than Jamel Dean. Wins the game. Last week, he’s the goat. He’s going to be a hell of a player. All those young kids in the secondary, they’re getting better and better. I thought the pass rush really showed up in the fourth quarter and it’s what we needed.”
(His thoughts on game-clinching interception by Jamel Dean)
“Let’s go win. Offense, let’s go win the game.”
(On the difference in Jamel Dean from last week to this week)
“Confidence, practice. He practices as a starter and did really well.”
