Kucherov, Stamkos Score In Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 Win Over Panthers

The stars came out for the Tampa Bay Lightning as the Bolts notched goals from Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov in a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers in Sunrise.Tampa Bay overcame a early deficit to score four straight goals over the newly acquired Sergei Bobrovsky in net for the Panthers.

The Panthers took an early lead on a goal from Owen Tippett, but Tampa Bay would fight back over their instate rival in the second.Cedric Paquette and Yanni Gourde each netted a goal for Tampa Bay as the Bolts took their first lead of the game with :28 seconds left in the second period.Kucherov and Stamkos would add to Tampa Bay’s lead in the third period, including a power play goal by the Lightning’s captain.

The Panthers outshot the Lightning 32-25 with each team netting a goal on the power play for the evening.The two teams will wrap up the pre-season taking on each other for a third straight game on Saturday night at Amalie Arena.
