Lightning Offense Shut Out For Second Straight Game Against Hurricanes

The Tampa Bay Lightning continue to wait on their first goal of the pre-season as they were shut out for a second straight night by the Carolina Hurricanes with a 2-0 final on Wednesday night in Raleigh, NC.The Bolts were held to only 21 shots on goal as Hurricanes goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic earned the win stopping all 21 shots by the Lightning offensive attack.

Steven Lorentz and Clark Bishop scored for theHurricanes as Tampa Bay will now enjoy an off day before hosting Nashville on Friday night at Amalie as part one of another back-to-back home-and-home series with the defending champions of the Western Conference’s Central division.
