(via Tampa Bay Rays Communications) - The Tampa Bay Rays today announced ticket information for potential 2019 postseason games to be played at Tropicana Field, including the American League Wild Card Game on Wednesday, October 2.
Starting today, fans can visit RaysBaseball.com/postseason and register for the Postseason Ticket Opportunity – a chance to purchase Rays 2019 postseason tickets before they go on sale to the general public. After registering for this opportunity, fans will be entered into a drawing for a chance to buy tickets for potential Rays 2019 postseason games to be played at Tropicana Field, including the American League Wild Card Game, Division Series, League Championship Series and World Series.
The deadline to register for the American League Wild Card Game drawing is Tuesday, September 24 at noon EST. The number of registrants selected is based on availability and fans are not guaranteed the opportunity to purchase by registering. Fans can register once to be included in all potential drawings.
Rays Season Ticket Holders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the Postseason Ticket Package and secure tickets for all potential 2019 Rays postseason home games at Tropicana Field. Rays Insider subscribers, Season Ticket Holders and Corporate Partners will also receive information about special presale opportunities.
Ticket Delivery – Mobile Only for the Postseason – In an effort to minimize fraudulent tickets and increase efficiency, 2019 postseason tickets are mobile only. Fans can choose to scan tickets on their smartphone or access them through the free MLB Ballpark App. Paper tickets, including print-at-home and PDF versions, will not be available or accepted during the postseason. 2020 Season Tickets – Fans can reserve 2020 season tickets today and gain access to the 2019 Postseason ticket package.
