Bucs Head Coach Bruce Arians Fingers-Crossed Vea Will Be Ready For Week One

Following a day off, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went back to practice on Sunday. Head Coach Bruce Arians met with the media after the team's practice. After viewing the game-film from Friday night, Arians provided an assessment of the team's performance against the Miami Dolphins. Arians also informed the media that he's hoping two players, safety Justin Evans & quarterback Nick Fitzgerald, neither of which has practiced in camp yet, will be able to return to practice before next week.

Last week when Arians announced defensive lineman Vita Vea suffered an LCL sprain to his left knee, he stated that Vea was week to week. And on Sunday, in the video below, Arians provided an update on Vea, emphasizing that his fingers are crossed that he will be ready to play week one against San Francisco on September 8th.

Arians had some strong praise for wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who as you can hear below the head coach said has a major role in the team's offense right now.
