Bucs Winston Watching Young Receivers Working Their Tails Off

Led by quarterback Jameis Winston, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive starters were impressive in their limited action during the team's first preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The starters put together a balanced 12-play drive that led to a touchdown in the opening possession of the game.

By the end of the first half, the first & second team offense was done playing & turned things over to the team's third team offense led by quarterback Ryan Griffin. And with starters like Winston watching from the sidelines, Griffin led the offense to a second half comeback, nearly overcoming a 14 point fourth quarter deficit.

Winston, who could be seen on the sidelines cheering on Griffin & the offense, had a birds-eye view of the near comeback. Part of the productive plays on offense came from two players that Winston spoke about when he met with the media on Wednesday. Both tight end Tanner Hudson & rookie wide receiver Spencer Schnell made crucial catches during the touchdown drives in the fourth quarter this past Friday night in Pittsburgh. And after watching the video below, you can see Winston respects the work Hudson & Schnell have put in to be ready to play & has developed a trust in the two young players ability to catch the football.
