Jameis Winston Says Bruce Arians Expects A Lot & Gets Most Out Of Players

On the eve of the Bucs starting training camp, one of the biggest questions for the 2019 season is, can Head Coach Bruce Arians get quarterback Jameis Winston to a number he's never achieved in his career?

Throughout the NFL, whether as an assistant or a head coach, Arians is known around the league as a coach who has been able to get the most out of his quarterback's skill-set. That ability to get the most out of a quarterback included veterans like former NFL quarterback Carson Palmer, who may have had his best season playing under Arians in Arizona & threw 35 touchdowns in 2016.

The man who may be the biggest reason Arians came to Tampa, quarterback Jameis Winston spoke to the media on Thursday. And as evident in the video below, Winston thinks one of Arians' biggest coaching assets is his ability to relate to players.

Winston, whose best touchdown to interception ratio in a season was 10, when he threw 28 touchdowns & 18 interceptions during the last winning season for the Bucs in 2016 season, has never thrown for 30 touchdowns in a season. Arians may be looking to change that.
