Glasnow Leaves Game With Trainer

ST. PETERSBURG (WDAE) -- The Tampa Bay Rays suffered a huge blow to their starting rotation Friday, when right-hander Tyler Glasnow was removed from their game against the New York Yankees in the sixth inning with right forearm tightness.

Glasnow had just struck out Gleyber Torres for the first out of the inning on a curveball, and immediately called for manager Kevin Cash and the trainer.

The team says that Glasnow will be evaluated further on Saturday.
