Yes there is a video game hall of fame. This headline isn't a joke. Every year they take 12 finalists and narrow it down to the 4 most deserving inductees. This year's class is filled with heavy hitters. I don't know what colossal cave adventure is, but apparently it is a classic. I am familiar with Mortal Kombat and Super Mario Kart and they are both very deserving. I spent hours playing both as a kid. I also spent hours playing solitaire. I still have a solitaire app on my phone, but is it really a video game? It beat out NBA 2k, Candy Crush, and more to get in.
