On Monday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers held their first offseason workout under new Head Coach Bruce Arians. And the media had the opportunity to talk to several players including wide receiver Mike Evans, cornerback Vernon Hargreaves & new linebacker Shaq Barrett.
During his interview with the media, Evans discussed his feelings about losing wide receiver Adam Humphries, who signed with the Tennessee Titans this offseason. But even with losing Humphries & the team trading DeSean Jackson, Evans still feels the team's receiving core will be one of the best groups in the NFL this upcoming season.
One of the other players who spoke to the media on Monday was cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, who had season-ending shoulder surgery this past September. Hargreaves stated he is fully cleared to participate in the team's offseason program & as he expressed in the video below, he's ready to play in a defensive system he feels better fits his skillset.
