Bulls Heading to CBI Finals With Win Over Loyola-Marymount

The USF Bulls (22-13) tied a school record with their 22nd win of the season and knocked off Loyola-Marymount (22-12) 56-47 on Thursday night at the Yuengling Center.

The first half saw both teams offense struggle to get going and ended in a 22-22 tie - for the Bulls, it was their lowest first-half point total this season. In the second half the Bulls were able to pull away, going on a 22-7 run that built a 15 point lead midway through the half en route to the nine point win.

Alexis Yetna set the pace for the Bulls, notching his league-leading 14th double-double of the season - he finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and has posted a double-double in all three games of the CBI. David Collins added 11 points of his own and grabbed three steals to help the Bulls advance to the Best of Three CBI Finals.

USF will battle DePaul in a best of three series to claim the CBI Title - the first game will be Monday night at 7 PM at the Yuengling Center. Game two and, if necessary, game three will be played in Chicago at McGrath-Philips Arena.
