Duke Wins ACC Title Over #12 Florida State

The Duke Blue Devils (29-5, 14-4) have won the ACC Tournament, knocking off Florida State (27-7, 13-5) 73-63 on Saturday evening in Charlotte. It was the 21st ACC Tournament Championship for Duke in their storied history.

The first half saw Florida State and Duke go back and forth and the game went into the second half tied 36-36. But Duke began to put some seperation between them and the Seminoles in the second half, thanks in large part to 21 points from Zion Williamson, as the Blue Devils now head charging into the NCAA Tournament. Williamson was named the MVP of the ACC Tournament, averaging 27 points and 10 rebounds through three games - he became just the sixth freshman to win the award and the frirst in a dozen years.

Florida State was led by 14 points from Mfiondu Kabengele in the loss - they also got twelve points end eight rebounds from Terance Mann. The Seminoles now prepare for the NCAA Tournament next week - they will find out their destination on Selection Sunday.
