Pitch Clocks, Plebe Year, And Packing Skills

Today is the start of full-squad workouts for the Tampa Bay Rays, which means at the end of the week, we'll be in to Grapefruit League games.

Sunday, Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred announced that Spring Training would see the league experimenting with a pitch clock during big league games in both the Grapefruit and Cactus League, and that if successful, could be implemented for this season.

We also discuss Mike Moustakas' signing a one-year deal and the ramifications that could come if some of the upper echelon free agents follow suit, and Oliver Drake remembers his plebe year at the Naval Academy, and learning to be a master at packing quickly after playing for five different teams last year.
