Three interceptions says it all. For a football team to struggle all season to get takeaways, to have a defensive back not named Brent Grimes get three picks in one game, who can say they saw Adams’ three-interception day coming? Adams becomes the third player in franchise history to record three interceptions in one game. And Tampa Bay needed every one of his picks to hold off Carolina in a 24-17 win. Ronde Barber accomplished that feat twice with three INTs against New Orleans on December 23, 2001 and against the Saints again on December 4, 2005, while Aqib Talib snared three interceptions against Washington on October 4, 2009.
