Erlendsson: Bolts Beat Devils Thanks To In-Game Changes

You won't normally hear LightningInsider.com publisher Erik Erlendsson delve into the shark-infested waters of the Jameis Winston saga, but he did Wednesday with JP.  The two compared how then-GM Steve Yzerman was able to rehab Jonathan Drouin's reputation after the forward left the team and demanded to be traded, then dealt him to Montreal and got wunderkind defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.

Erik also detailed how the New Jersey Devils looked like they were going to play with a chip on their shoulder all night Tuesday, but some in-game changes by the Bolts helped stop the momentum and turned things around as they ended up trouncing the Devils 8-3.
