ST. PETERSBURG (620 WDAE) -- The Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday placed starting pitcher Blake Snell in the 10-day disabled list with fatigue in his left shoulder.
Snell, who made his first All-Star Game this year, was examined by team doctor Koco Eaton after feeling poor after throwing a bullpen session Sunday. He underwent an MRI, which showed no structural damage.
Both Snell and the team expect him to miss only one start.
