Ramos Forced To Pull Out Of All-Star Game

The Tampa Bay Rays may have won Saturday's contest against the Minnesota Twins, but they also lost a big piece of their batting order.

Catcher Wilson Ramos announced after the game to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times that his hamstring injury would keep him out of Tuesday's All-Star Game in Washington, DC, and that he expects to spend time on the 10-day disabled list.

Ramos, who won the fan vote as the starting catcher for the American League team, left Saturday's game in the sixth inning with left hamstring tightness.
