Don't look now, but Tim Tebow's minor league baseball career is starting to take off!
Last Friday, the New York Mets outfield prospect is one of five members of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to be named to the Eastern League All-Star roster. Tebow's nod to the All-Star Game is no farce.
After a slow start, Tebow has had a productive month in June and is now batting .268 on the season with five home runs and thirty three RBI.
Tebow, 30, will be among the likes of future stars Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette at the All-Star Game, scheduled for July 11 at Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton, New Jersey.
Ticket prices have been soaring since the news broke! According to Sports Illustrated, the cheapest tickets started at $20 on Vivid Seats June 28, the day before the All-Star Game ballot was announced.
By June 30, some ticket prices had reached $115. Prices continued to soar, reaching $149 as of yesterday afternoon.
