DeMarcus Cousins Signs But Could He Be More Harm Than Help

The NBA free agency period is continuing to dominate the sports landscape as news broke last night that DeMarcus Cousins and the Golden State Warriors reached an agreement Monday after the big man spent a season-and-a-half with the New Orleans Pelicans.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal is for one year and $5.3 million.  #WojBomb?

Cousins averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists in 48 games last season with the New Orleans Pelicans, but is currently rehabbing following surgery in late January to repair a torn Achilles.

Wojnarowski reported. "He has been rehabilitating the injury and is hoping to return some time in December or January."

What makes this signing even more interesting?  Cousins told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated that he is "shooting for training camp." Cousins added, "It wasn't a comment just to sound good in free agency."
