Another moment in the great goonish career of Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson happened last night when Tampa Bay Lightning forward Chris Kunitz and Wilson got tangled up with each other off a face off. As Wilson fell to the ice on his backside, the left skate of Wilson crept up into the grill of Kunitz forcing his head back and to the right.
Taking a second look at it, did Wilson raise his skate intentionally higher to try and clip the face of Kunitz? Makes you wonder with one leg is bent at the knee while falling and the other one seemingly was extended even higher than the other. Did he aim? Or are we just making something out of nothing... because it's Tom Wilson after all?
