Headkicks And Corner Controversy Highlight UFC 224

UFC 224 didn't have the buzz of a Conor McGregor or Jon Jones title fight, but man did it deliver. It tied the record for finishes on a fight card when 11 fights ended in a stoppage. Most notably, Lyoto Machida retired Vitor Belfort with a kick to the face that looked eerily similar to the one Anderson Silva knocked out Belfort with years ago. Controversy was abound in the main event, but not over who the better fighter was that night. Amanda Nunes dominated Raquel Pennington for the majority of the first 4 rounds and when Pennington came to her stool before the 5th, she told her corner she was done. Rather than throw in the towel, Pennington's coaches encouraged her to go out for the final round and take one last shot at winning the gold. Pennington was ultimately finished by Nunes, causing some to say that her corner let her down. Check out highlights of it all below:
