Bucs Select CB M.J. Stewart In 2nd Round Of NFL Draft

The two biggest needs for the Bucs entering day 2 of the NFL Draft were running back and corner back. They selected Ronald Jones to fill that running back hole with the 38th pick. They got their corner with the 53rd pick. They selected M.J. Stewart from North Carolina. The 6 foot corner's best year probably came in his sophomore where he had 4 interceptions and 34 tackles. In the 2017 season he had 33 tackles, 2 sacks and no interceptions. He does come with baggage as he was suspended during that great sophomore season. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery by the Chapel Hill police, but was reinstated by the team less than a week later.
