PORT CHARLOTTE (620 WDAE) -- Rays Opening Day starter Chris Archer left his final spring start Friday in the fifth inning after bring hit on the right forearm during a minor-league game.
Archer was diagnosed with a right forearm contusion and according to the team was removed as a precaution and that the contusion is "nothing serious."
