PORT CHARLOTTE (620 WDAE) -- The Tampa Bay Rays may have their slogan for 2018.
Principal owner Stuart Sternberg made his annual State of the Rays address for the 2018 season and was pressed by Tampa Bay Times columnist Martin Fennelly for a win prediction for the year.
"More than you think," was his reply. "Whatever it is anybody in this group here is thinking, I think it's more."
Sternberg got into the trades from earlier in the spring, payroll at the big league level, the work toward a possible new stadium in the Ybor City district in Tampa, and even the grievance filed Tuesday morning by the MLB Players Association.
