NEANDER: "A Little More Work" Needed To Contend

PORT CHARLOTTE (620 WDAE) -- Tampa Bay Rays general manager has made a handful of deals over the last week, bringing in C.J. Cron and moving outfielders Steven Souza Jr. and Corey Dickerson and pitcher Jake Odorizzi out, and while he feels good about the long-term outlook for the team, there's still "a little more work" needed if he wants to try and contend for a postseason berth this season.
