Souza Has Message For Rays Fans Upon Departure

PORT CHARLOTTE (620 WDAE) -- It's been a rough few days for Steven Souza Jr.

The outfielder had to leave camp Thursday to return to Seattle and deal with a family situation.  He had two of his teammates leave, as pitcher Jake Odorizzi was traded to Minnesota and and fellow outfielder Corey Dickerson was designated for assignment.  And finally, Souza himself was dealt Tuesday evening to Arizona as part of a three-team deal.

Souza discusses if he believed he was going to be traded, how he doesn't blame general manager Erik Neander for making the deal, playing on the west coast for the first time as a pro, plus he has a message for Rays fans who may be downtrodden after all the moves made so far.
