The Tampa Bay Lightning found out Wednesday that three players -- forward Nikita Kucherov, defenseman Victor Hedman and goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy -- will join captain Steven Stamkos and head coach Jon Cooper in the NHL All-Star Game January 29, representing the Atlantic Division.
Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com, who joins the Big Dog every Wednesday, said that getting four players from Tampa Bay while the rest of the division provided one player apiece was not only unexpected, but deserved because of the play from all of them.
Erik also discussed the upcoming schedule and the idea that teams could possibly look to emulate the Vegas Golden Knights in amassing nothing but role players.
