TJ Ward's offseason didn't get started on the right foot.
The Buccaneers safety was arrested Wednesday morning, and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to the report by Tampa police, Ward was arrested just after 8:00 Wednesday morning on 12th Street S. in the Channelside area. The report does not mention how much marijuana was on Ward's person or what kind of paraphernial was found, but the 31-year-old was charged with a felony for possession.
He was released just before noon on $2,500 bond.
