Playing a man down is never ideal, especially when that player has been your best all season. The Tampa Bay Lightning had to go through that on Thursday night when they found out just prior to game time that Nikita Kucherov wouldn't be able to play with an illness. That meant other players had to step up. The Bolts got that with goals from J.T. Brown and Andrej Sustr. They used those goals as fuel to complete the season sweep of the Detroit Red Wings.
