DUFFY HEADING BACK TO DOC: Shortstop Matt Duffy, who has yet to play after undergoing season-ending heel surgery last year, said he'll be flying to Charlotte to meet with Dr. Bob Anderson, who performed the surgery.
"It doesn't quite seem to be progressing the way that we'd like," Duffy said Wednesday. "I figure tomorrow I'll get some answers."
Duffy has performed some baseball activities, but has yet to start running, and will almost undoubtedly start the season on the disabled list.
