Stamkos Skates, Speaks: "Can't Say It Feels Ready"

Friday, for the first time since being injured more than four months ago, Lightning captain Steven Stamkos skated in a full workout. It was also the first time he spoke to the media about his progress since surgery to repair his meniscus.

"I'll be playing when it feels ready. And I can't say it feels ready right now. But it was a start," he said, adding that he'll only return when he feels 100 per cent.

The Bolts could sure use him Saturday when they host East-leading Washington.

Here are all of Stamkos' comments courtesy of the team's official website.
