Junior lefty Julian Bosnic, who missed half of last season and all of the Buccaneers (4-0) fall ball play with a leg injury, has shown little rust to start the year as he earned his second win, and had his second-consecutive double-digit strike out performance. Bosnic, a Wake Forest commit, struck out 11 and allowed just two hits over five innings of work.
Senior Gordon Stetson had an RBI double and an RBI sac fly to key the Berkeley Prep offense against the Terrapins.
Jakob Hines got things started for the Buccaneers in the bottom of the first with an RBI groundball. Dylan Brown added an RBI sac fly in the three-run third inning. Hines and Carson Weekley each had two hits for the Buccaneers.
Landon Schabes took the loss for Tampa Prep (0-4) striking out four, the junior also had a double and made a solid defensive play after moving to centerfield running down a deep fly ball. Charlie Vari had two hits for the Terrapins, including a double.

Bloomingdale (3-1) got a complete-game win from senior Vladimir Zavala, who struck out three and allowed two unearned runs. Senior Nate Chevalier was 1-for-2 with two runs scored. The Bulls are 2-0 in Class 8A-6 District play.

Freddy Tarnok struck out seven in a shutout win for Riverview (3-1) as the Sharks have won three straight games all in Class 8A-District 6 play. Tarnok, a University of Tampa signee, also had a double and two RBI at the plate, while Florida commit Justin Farmer also doubled and drove in three.

Nate Stringfield tossed a no-hitter, striking out nine as the Bulls defeated Brooks DeBartolo.
Cambridge Christian 15, Bradenton Southeast 1 (5 innings)
Cambridge Christian (4-2) junior Nick Kaul went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI as the Lancers defeated Southeast. Austin Carter was also 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBI.

Three Jesuit (4-1) pitchers, Price Sartor, Jack Anderson and Jeff Hankanson stymied Gainesville allowing just five hits in a shutout win. Sartor struck out five to earn the win for the Tigers, while Alex Mocny and Thomas Bencivenga each recorded two hits, McGuire Weaver and Duncan Hunter both doubled, and Garrett Sheppard and Mitchell Thrower came through with two RBI each.

Will Gilbert and Troy Devault had RBI hits for Seffner Christian (4-1) as the Crusaders earn a district win over All Saints.
