After an eventful 24 hours off of the ice, the Tampa Bay Lightning got back on the ice on Monday night. The team came out a little sluggish after the team traded away veterans, Ben Bishop and Brian Boyle, but Andrei Vasilevskiy's stellar play kept the Bolts in it in the 1st. After allowing a power play goal in the 1st the Lightning scored 5 unanswered over the final 2 periods to secure the victory. The biggest contributor to that victory was Nikita Kucherov. Kuch ended the night with a hat-trick and scored all 3 of those goals in the 2nd period. After the game Jon Cooper, Kucherov, Vasilevskiy, and Jonathan Drouin spoke with the media about the victory.
