Lightning Snap Skid With Win Over Hurricanes

The Tampa Bay Lightning (21-15-2) defeated the Carolina Hurricanes (24-15-2) 3-2 on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena. The Bolts snapped a four-game losing skid with the win, playing in their first game home since having been swept in a three-game trip to California.

Tied 2-2 late in this game, Brayden Point scored with 52 seconds to go to secure a regulation win for Tampa Bay. The Bolts also got goals from Brandon Hagel and Nick Paul in this one.

The Lightning will now look to make it two in a row when they host they host the Bruins on Thursday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM Thursday between Tampa Bay and Boston at Amalie Arena.
