The Rice Owls (4-8, 3-5) defeated the USF Bulls (6-6, 4-4) 35-28 on Saturday afternoon in Houston.
Bulls quarterback Bryce Archie went 19-for-35 with 227 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception. The Bulls had two receivers eclipse 100 yards, as Sean Atkins had seven catches for 110 yards and touchdwon and Keshaun Singleton also had seven catches, pulling in 107 yards and a touchdown.
The Bulls are bowl eligible and will wait to find out where they will play in the upcoming bowl season.
