The Florida Gators (5-5, 3-4) upset #21 LSU (6-4, 3-3) 27-16 on Saturday afternoon in Gainesville. It was Florida's first win against LSU since 2018.
DJ Lagway returned from an strained left hamstring injury to throw for a touchdown while going 16-for-26 with 226 yards. The game was tied 10-10 at halftime before again being tied 13-13 going into the fourth quarter. Ja'Kobai Jackson ran in a touchdown early in the fourth to give the Gators the lead, and Jadan Baugh essentially clinched the game with a 55-yard touchdown with 3:48 to go in the game.
The Gators will look to build on this win when they host #10 Ole Miss next Saturday. Kickoff on November 23rd is scheduled for 12:00 PM in Gainesville.
