The Minnesota Wild (7-1-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (7-4-0) on Friday night in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Tampa Bay got goals from Brayden Point, Jake Guentzel and Nick Paul in the losing effort. Kirill Kaprizov extended his multipoint streak to seven games when he had two goals and an assist to lead the way for Minnesota.
The Lightning now travel to Winnipeg where they will play the Jets on Sunday. Puck drop between the Lightning and Jets is scheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.
