The 2nd-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1) defeated the Florida Gators (4-4, 2-3) 34-20 on Saturday afternoon at the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" in Jacksonville.
Gators freshman quarterback DJ Lagway went 2-for-6 with 47 yards passing and a touchdown before leaving the game on a cart with a left hamstring injury early in the second quarter. He gave way to Aidan Warner, who went 7-for-22 with 66 yards passing and an interception the rest of the way.
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck went 25-for-40 with 309 yards passing - he overcame three interceptions with two touchdown passes as the Bulldogs got their fourth straight win in the series.
The Gators are next in action when they go to #6 Texas on November 9th - kickoff in that game is scheduled for 12:00 PM ET.
