The Tampa Bay Lightning (7-3-0) defeated Colorado Avalanche (5-6-0) 5-2 late Wednesday night in Denver.
Nikita Kucherov had a goal and two assists to set the pace. Andrei Vasilevskiy went 33-of-35 in net to pick up the win.
The Lightning now travel to Minnesota to play the Wild on Friday night. Puck drop from Minneapolis is scheduled for 8:00 PM on Friday.
