Lightning Beat Golden Knights For Third Straight Win

The Tampa Bay Lightning (3-0-0) defeated the Vegas Golden Knights (3-2-0) 4-3 on Thursday night at Amalie Arena. The Lightning have now won each of their first three games to start the 2024-2025 season.

Trailing 3-2 in the third period, the Lightning scored twice to win the game. Brandon Hagel scored at the 17:38 mark - then, with 0:55 to go in regulation, Nikita Kucherov's second goal of the game lifted Tampa Bay to the win.

Tampa Bay now goes on the road for the next three games beginning when they play the Ottawa Senators on Saturday afternoon. Puck drop from Ottawa is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday.
