Seminoles Routed By SMU

The SMU Mustangs (4-1, 1-0) blew out the Florida State Seminoles (1-4, 1-3) 42-16 on Saturday night in Dallas.

SMU took a 14-9 lead into halftime before scoring two touchdowns in both the third and fourth quarter to take control of the game. Kevin Jennings passed for a career-high three touchdowns for SMU, going 16-for-23 with 254 yards in the air.

DJ Uiagalelei went 12-for-30 with 222 yards and two passing touchdowns, throwing for three interceptions including a pick six. He was replaced by Brock Glenn late in the game, who did not complete a pass.

The Seminoles are next in action when they host #17 Clemson on October 5 at 7:00 PM.
