The Florida Gators (17-7, 7-4) defeated LSU (12-12, 4-7) 82-80 on Tuesday night in Gainesville. It was the second straight win for Florida, who has won six of their last seven games.
Walter Clayton Jr. scored 21 points to lead the Gators. Tyrese Samuel scored 15 points and Zyon Pullin added 14 for the Gators.
Florida is next in action when they go on the road to play Georgia this weekend. Tipoff between the Gators and Bulldogs is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Saturday.
