The Tampa Bay Lightning (27-18-5) defeated the New Jersey Devils (24-20-3) 6-3 on Saturday night at Amalie Arena. The Lightning have now won eight of their last nine games, while New Jersey has lost three of four.
Brayden Point and Brandon Hagel each had two goals for the Lightning in the win. Tampa Bay also got a goal from Nicholas Paul, three assists from Victor Hedman, and two assists from Nikita Kucherov.
The Lightning are now off because of the NHL All-Star Break until February 7th. They return to the ice at New York against the Rangers at 7:00 PM on Wednesday February 7.
