The Boston Bruins (24-8-6) beat the Tampa Bay Lightning (19-17-5) 7-3 on Saturday night in Boston. The Lightning wrap up a three game road trip with a 1-2 mark and have lost four of their last six games.
Trent Frederic scored two goals to lead the way for Boston. Nikita Kucherov scored three points for Tampa Bay, including a goal. Brayden Point had two goals in the losing effort, including the first just twenty-one seconds into the first period.
The Lightning now return home for the next four games which begins on Tuesday night against the LA Kings. Puck drop Tuesday is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Amalie Arena.
