Lightning Fall To Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks (19-9-1) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (13-12-5) 4-1 late Tuesday night in Vancouver.

Brayden Point gave the Lightning a lead just 1:25 into the game thinks to a tip-in goal. That would prove to be the only offense for the Bolts in this game, as Vancouver had an answer.

Andrei Kuzmenko scored to tie the game 6:08 into the first period, and the score would remain 1-1 going into the second period. From there Brock Boeser took control of the game with a natural hat trick, scoring two in the second and one in the third to propel the Canucks to victory.

Andrei Vasilevskiy went 18-for-21 in net for the Lightning in the losing effort.

The Lightning continue a Western Canada trip when they head to Edmonton to play the Oilers on Thursday. night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Oilers is scheduled for 9:00 PM on Thursday.
